The objective of the REtalhar exhibition is to explore the creative and economical potential of the techniques developed by the COOPA-ROCA artisans.
The resulting techniques developed by COOPA-ROCA are used to motivate the invited artists and designers. Their creations all stand out in terms of their creativity and originality within their respected areas of design.
The first REtalhar exhibition was in 2000 (Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo), sponsored by the Department of Culture, Rio de Janeiro Council and SENAC in Sao Paulo. The second exhibition was in 2002 (Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Berlin, Germany) sponsored by the Department of Culture, Rio de Janeiro Council and the Goethe Institute Rio. The third exhibition is planned for 2004.
